Gayann Brandenburg

Gayann Brandenburg is a champion of employment for people with disabilities. She works tirelessly to bring the message of employment to all sectors: job seekers with disabilities, staff, business, and bureaucrats. Her beliefs are: quality of life begins with disposable income and collaborative efforts are the foundation of successful employment opportunities. Gayann has worked in the disability field for over twenty-five years in South Dakota, Minnesota, Alabama, and Colorado. Gayann has an eclectic background in community employment, transition, family support, grant writing, management, and behavioral supports. She currently is the Director of the Region VIII CRP RCEP (Regional Continuing Education Program for Community Rehab Providers, a collaborative agreement with Rehabilitation Services Administration) and the Director of CTAT, Creative Training ~ Accelerating Talent in Denver, Colorado. Gayann is active in the Denver community in promoting employment for all people with disabilities, as well as working cooperatively in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana with the CRP RCEP. She has served on the Colorado APSE Board for several years in various positions and for the last several years has coordinated the Colorado Supported Employment Conference. Gayann also serves as the secretary/treasurer of the Association for Community Rehabilitation Educators (a national organization that promotes the education and training of community rehabilitation personnel to enhance employment outcomes of persons with disabilities.) Gayann is frequently requested to speak on a variety of employment/disability related topics; has produced several training videos; and has enjoyed writing articles and training curriculums to provide the best possible training to staff in the disability field.
