Grant Writing and more...Critical Basic Skills for Developing New Resources and Ventures
Writing successful grant proposals is becoming a highly desirable skill for those invested in their own professional development, and the growth of their organization or program.
Managing financial resources and developing new resources comes down to one question: How can we afford to provide the best possible services to our customers? But there are more questions: Can we afford to provide individualized services? Can we afford to get people off the waiting lists and meet unmet needs? Can we fund the day to day operations of our programs in a manner consistent with our mission?
We must start with a clear understanding of revenue sources. Have we diversified our funding to remain viable in the event that a funding source “dries up?” Do we have a variety of revenue streams that are stable and sufficient? In this day and age, it takes extra effort to come up with the money to maintain quality services and there is money out there if you know where to look and how to proceed.
This is an interactive course with hands-on exercises that will provide you with the basic information, tools and resources you can use the very next day.
