Kim Gorgens, Ph.D.

Dr. Kim Gorgens is a licensed clinical psychologist with a full time academic appointment in the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of Denver. She completed her Ph.D. at Southern Illinois University and a postdoctoral fellowship in rehabilitation psychology. She designed and teaches the health psychology and clinical neuropsychology curricula in the doctoral program, training new clinicians to be more effective in their recognition and use of the biopsychosocial paradigm. She is a leader in the promotion and implementation of clinical competencies for providers to use with their clients with TBI. Dr. Gorgens also consults and provides public outreach in the areas of health and biological psychology, disability awareness and research design.
