Legal Rights
This workshop focuses on a general overview of CRS 27-10.5, which is the Colorado law regarding the care and treatment of people with disabilities. The rights identified in this law are discussed, as well as some specific instances to watch for in which an individual’s rights might be unknowingly violated. Confidentiality issues, informed consent and guardianship laws for both children and adults are also covered in this training.
