Restrictive Procedures
The emphasis of this workshop is placed on making sure good functional assessments are completed in order to identify non-restrictive positive based supports that can and should be tried prior to the uses of restrictive procedures.  Participants will learn what constitutes a restrictive procedure and the necessary steps that must be taken prior to implementation.  Participants will also learn about the differences between safety controls, emergency controls, rights suspensions, and restrictive interventions.
